CELEBRATING TOP 100: POINT OF INFINITY
Hiroshi Sugimoto’s monumental Point of Infinity made the 2025 CODAawards Top 100. We are delighted as our Special Projects team played a central role in bringing this 69-foot sculpture to life, coordinating across engineers, contractors, fabricators, public agencies and the artist’s studio over five years of planning and execution from Japan to the Bay Area. Scott Atthowe (1944 - 2024)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on October 31st of Scott Atthowe, our founder. He was an early pioneer of specialized art-handling and shipping, founding Atthowe Fine Art Services in the 1970s. He built a small trucking company into an internationally acclaimed full-service business renowned for excellence. Before retirement, he realized his dream to sell his company to its employees, leaving his employees a thriving business organized as a California Worker-Owned Cooperative.
