ArtNews Celebrates Top Art Professionals
We’re honored to share that Atthowe Fine Art Services has been recognized by ARTnews among The Top Art World Professionals for the third year in a row—featured in 2023, 2024, and now 2025. Being included alongside remarkable peers in the field reflects our team’s long-standing dedication, craftsmanship, and care for every project we take on.
We’re grateful to ARTnews for recognizing our ongoing work and the expertise of our team. As ARTnews noted in its 2023 feature:
“Founded in 1928 as a barge company handling freight, this Oakland, California–based firm offers a full range of services. When China lent Zhang Huan’s 15-ton, 26-foot-tall sculpture Three Heads Six Arms (2008) for display at the San Francisco Civic Center, Atthowe was the one to take it from four crates, disassembled and with no instructions, and put it back together.”
Since our founder, Scott Atthowe, began moving art in the early 1970s, Atthowe has embraced challenging projects with dedication and expertise. In 2021, we embarked on another defining milestone—becoming worker-owned. As a worker cooperative, we proudly uphold the tradition of excellence in art stewardship that Scott Atthowe established and that we continue to advance within the field today.
