About the role:
Our Logistics Department (the operational backbone of everything we do) is looking for a Dispatcher - a great opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented multitasker with a knack for coordination and grace under pressure. This person will report to the Head of Logistics and will bring air-traffic controller level acumen to the role. An ideal candidate brings prior experience in dispatch for an art shipping company, art handling field experience, including driving box trucks, and high-volume gallery-level project coordination. They will be someone who can manage crew schedules, allocate resources and equipment, and keep jobs moving efficiently across departments, all while prioritizing safety and quality of service. Must be comfortable balancing desk work with warehouse hustle, and equally at ease briefing a crew on the day's job needs as coordinating with Project Managers on the finer points of a project's lifecycle. This person is adept at juggling shifting priorities, communicates clearlyquickly, directly and kindly, and understands how to handle art objects and materials with care.
